Camp Humphreys Coffee Guide

Are you stationed at Camp Humphreys and looking for some great spots to get coffee near the base? I’ve got you covered. As you will soon come to realize while in Korea- there is no shortage of beautiful cafes. While there are thousands in South Korea and we could go on and on about all the cafes i’ve visited here… here are the ones that are close to Camp Humphreys (Or Osan Airbase!) you should definitely add to your list. I will include the Waze or Naver link for each one as well. If you aren’t familiar with these yet- these are the navigation apps you will use while in Korea.

Ten Dogs

This was the first coffee shop we went to in Korea and I was shocked at how beautiful it was! You will be too! This is a large coffee shop that is gorgeously decorated. You can get your own picture on your latte here. Download the app “Ripples” and you can upload any photo you want, then just show it to the barista and it will be printed on your coffee! They have tons of seating if you want to post up there all day too. And yes, you can bring your dog to their little outside dog cafe area. (10-15 min from Humphreys)

Pino Cafe

This is by far the best coffee I had in Korea, you must go here and get the tiramisux iced coffee! The barista was so proud of it too, he wrote us little instructions in english on how to drink it properly. (eat some of the cream topping stuff first with the little golden shovel spoon they give you, then mix the rest up and drink it hah!) My hubby and I both got one and a strawberry nutella scone. Pino Cafe is 30 minutes from Camp Humphreys and is right next to an area with walking trails and a temple so you can make a little afternoon of it. They have a little flower photo wall at their outside seating area too. I love this place!

Roasters

This is a small coffee shop within walking distance from the pedestrian gate at Camp Humphreys. If you are looking to stay super close to base, this is a good one for you! You can walk there! You have to try the honey butter bread! (5 min walk from Humphreys)

Cafe Bee & Honey

One of a kind, this cafe is one i’ll miss a lot! They have bees right outside the cafe that make the most delicious and fresh honey. It is right next to a small hike that you can do in about an hour total before you indulge in an affagoto honeycomb ice cream topped with espresso. You can also taste test and then take home some local honey! Bonus, the jar you can fill up is really cute and reusable for something else when you eat all the honey. (20 min from Humphreys)

Gravity

I spent so many hours in this cafe! It is right next to Archive and Or cafes as well so you could really see all 3 in one trip! There are 3 different levels in this cafe with so much seating. I got a latte with espresso boba in it… wow. It was delicious! This is a chain here in Korea but this is the only one i’ve been to and i’d totally go back. (15-20 min from Humphreys)

Archive Cafe

If you want a beautiful view while visiting a cafe, this is the perfect one! You have a view of the river from this large cafe. There are 2 levels with lots of window seating to see the water. It is right next door to 2 other cafes (Gravity and the 2D cafe, so you could hit all 3 in one trip!) (15-20 min from Humphreys)

CoffeyVille

A tiny little coffee shop with such a wonderful owner. I love this spot because of how nice the owner is- he speaks great English and will go above and beyond to make your drink perfect- from what is in it to the cute sleeves he puts on the outside! (3 min walk from Humphreys walk-in gate, across the street from Red Onion restaurant)

Main Street

New York City themed cafe with multiple levels and “restaurants” on every level. There is even rooftop seating and a kid zone. There are lots of different areas in this cafe including a 2D cafe section on the top level where it looks like you’re in a coloring book! They have an extensive selection of sweets and pastries, as well as an area just for fancy ice cream shakes. If you are really missing America, this one is for you. (25 min from Humphreys)

Cafe Maro (Pink Cafe)

This is a pink-lover’s dream cafe. It is all pink and it does not disappoint. They have a very cute photospot at the entrance which is a phone booth. It is covered with flowers in the springtime, making it even cuter. The drinks are VERY sweet, just a warning! If you are a coffee fan, stick with the regular coffee. It is not a very big cafe. It is in an area (Cheonan) where there are a lot of cafes lining the street, so you can make a “cafe hopping” day out of it, or head to the Independence Hall of Korea just 10-20 minutes down the road. This is a MUST see while in Korea!

Hands Coffee

Hands Coffee is a chain in Korea and there is a location within 10 minutes from Camp Humphreys. They have 2 levels and lots of space for seating. The BEST part about this coffee shop is the waffles… oh my gosh. Have you ever had ice cream on top of a fresh homemade belgian waffle? This is to die for… I love this coffee shop!

Cosmic Cat

Located right outside of the walk-in gate, this is another favorite especially during the fall when you are looking for a good pumpkin spice latte!
